Ahoy! From Switzerland...Sunday and Monday

After a long journey, a good dinner and a great night's sleep, we were up bright and early on Sunday morning, ready for a day on the slopes.

We're a mixed bag, and there are some of us who came out of the womb on skis, and others of us (myself included) who aren't/weren't really sure what a mountain looks like.

After bacon sandwiches and making our packed lunches, we were off! We took the train from Lauterbrunnen, and the views are incredible!
Some of us were in ski school, and the experts took to the slopes in small groups.

Monday looked pretty similar, and we're looking forward to another incredible dinner cooked by Tessa in a little while.

You'll no doubt be pleased to hear that those of us who were beginners are now experts (we tackled our first blue run this morning), and those who started as experts are now unstoppable (mostly). The instructors from Goldhill are great, and we've learnt a lot.

Our very own General, Pete, has been sharing some evening thoughts with us, and last night we were thinking about what it is like to try something new...pretty scary for some of us! The [nearly] world famous TA Roadshow is a little different on TA Ski, but still very thought-provoking, interspersed with 'Wipeout of the Day'. Special mentions go to those of us who have demonstrated an unusual inability to handle ski lifts...

Great people, great food, great fun. Put TA Ski 2013 in your diary now, you won't regret it!
