Dave's Moment of the Month

Nick, Marcus, James and myself were lucky enough to spend a few days hanging out with the 1st NW Boys Brigade over in Dyffryn Ardudwy, North Wales - a definite highlight of my month!

All the campers made us very welcome and after a long drive we were treated to a wonderful roast dinner and shared in their evening thoughts and campfire!

A night in tents followed and after prayer and breakfast (what a great combo!) James and Marcus joined the boys for morning activities whilst Nick and I headed to the beach for a, somewhat bracing, swim!

After recovering from mild hypothermia we set about an afternoon of Circus Skills and Archery and before long poi were hitting targets and arrows were flying around heads (or was that the other way round?).

Tuesday morning came all too soon and we reluctantly had to say goodbye to the campers but not before they gave us the opportunity to share with everyone what Jesus means for us as outdoor instructors and how He encourages us to "Live Life to the Max!"

Camping, Wales and God  - What could be better!
