JL tells us about his favourite event.

Working with the Dragon School and Chernobyl group. The Chernobyl disaster happened when I was 5 years old and was on the other side of the world so it's sad to say but it just doesn't feature in my day to day thinking. The realisation that it is still causing massive health issues for kids being born in the area today is mind boggling.

What happens is The Dragon School host a group of children who visit on an annual basis for a 'health and well being' check up and ask us to provide activities just for a bit of fun while they are here as otherwise the visit can be fairly intense and it's not always great news.

It would be incredibly easy to think "well, what can I do?" but when you see the smile on their face and hear the sincerity in their thanks, and all you've done is run a simple session of archery or climbing, it is truly humbling. A definite moment which brings into sharp focus the significance of wearing John 10:10 on our shirts as we go about our daily business.
