Residentials revealed

The DisTIL team have been hard at work with two schools', Christ the Sower and The Blake, year 6s. We really enjoyed sharing our theme for the week - He will set my feet on solid rock. (Psalm 40 1:3) The children enjoyed Team Game challenges, Archery, Biking, Bushcraft, Canoeing, Climbing, Fencing, Low Ropes, Walking and Woodland Challenge, gaining new skills and conquering fears.
The new team lead their first sessions in Woodland Challenge and Low ropes while the DisTIL plus took charge of the walk, fencing and evening thought sessions. As always we were ably assisted by a fantastic team of volunteers, Thanks to James and Dave.

We were kept sustained by the amazing cooking of the wonderful Charles and Grace, we hope they enjoy their well earned rest this week.

Quinta at this time of year is a place of contrasts wet and blowy one day and bright and dry the next. The weather however didn't stop us from taking advantage of Friday afternoon off before the arrival of the North West Baptist's Impact weekend youth team on Saturday. We indulged in a Welsh and English Tea followed by climbing at Trevor rocks. All in a days work... it's a tough life!
