After a long journey to Switzerland the day before the next day we were all ready to get out there and to start Skiing/Snowboarding.
As we made our way up the mountain on the train you could see the rain turning to snow and the changing of green to white. It was hard to take in the view at the start of the day as it snowing made it hard see no further than a few metres.
Before we started skiing we were split up into groups based on our skills down the slopes. It was a little odd at first skiing as it had been a year since we last did it. Once we started to go down the slopes we realised just how hard it was to see beyond your skis and most of it became a guessing game on which turn to take

However as the day went on the sun came out and the view was astonishing. There were mountains all around us reaching higher than the clouds. Skiing then was amazing as you could actually see where you were going.
Elena (came along to ski with us and to kindly be our caterer) that evening cooked an amazing meal which was fantastic after a long day of skiing.
In the evening Rob did the evening talk which was brilliant to listen to and I think I can say that we all got something out of it and it was an awesome way to end the day.
