TA Ski Day 3

Today we decided to go to a different skiing area called “Winteregg” where we took the cable car up to the top then took the train to the skiing area.
It was a great day skiing there with new ski runs to tackle, surprisingly not that many wipe-outs today from what I was aware. For lunch we met at a place higher up called “Birg” where we had lunch while looking at a wonderful view. It was also a very nice surprise to meet Pete there who worked for Adventure Plus in the past and had recently got married and moved to Switzerland.

After lunch Rob, my Dad, Malcom, Simon, Nick and myself went up to The Shilthorn where the James Bond film “On her Majesty’s Secret Service” was filmed.  We decided it would be a good idea to have a coffee in the rotating restaurant. We also went around the James Bond museum which was brilliant to see all the movie posters from the films and there were short videos on how the film was made.

Today was a great day on the slopes overall. Not many wipe-outs the weather was amazing and the view of the mountains in the distant was a true sight to see. The saying “you never get tired of gazing upon beauty” really spoke of today.
