Christmas Festivites

Its Christmasss!!

Here at A+ we have been getting ready for the annual Christmas Party that takes place on our site.
It has been tasked to the DisTIL team to prepare it, so we have been planning food, games and special surprises that we are all looking forward to witnessing on Friday afternoon.

However in conjunction with that, Elm Tree 1 have been decorating their house. This has proved to be quite difficult on a tight budget that only managed to buy coloured paper and a bit of sticky tape.
Therefore Beth and I got creative and created out very own Christmas Tree complete with baubles made from 1 and 2 pence coins (we are literally the only Gap Year students out there to own a money tree right now....). We also made some classic Paper-Chains and Snowflakes that are making our home all the more Christmassy.

The icing on the cake this week though has been Christmas Dinner hosted by Charles and Grace, the caterers at Windmill Farm, on Tuesday night. It was a great evening full of festivities with the most delicious food, and Grace even played Santa and bought us gifts! We have been truly spoilt!

So here's to Christmas and the true meaning being spread all over the world:

"Isiah 9:6 (NKJV)For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all at A+!
